» DJ Cheapshot :: Jazzercidal Tendencies Artwork Revealed [Final Art (Sorta)]! |
|
Aug 25, 2008 - 6:36 PM - by JaySinkie
|
Cheapshot's new Mix CD Jazzercidal Tendencies, seems to have undergone some artwork changes, as Cheapshot mentioned to us it might.
Here's the new artwork, although Cheapshot has stated that "The" and "Tour" will be removed from the final product:

The Mix CD is purported by Cheapshot to be "a different breed of animal" than either Party Mouth! or his Mega Dudical! series.
And as indicated by the cover, the CD is expected to have it's own Mixtape Tour, much like Party Mouth! before it, although this is merely speculation, and hasn't been confirmed or denied by Cheapshot himself.
-------
Also worth noting is an upcoming Cheapshot tour stop:

And again, to keep up on Cheapshot, as always, we'll keep you up to date, but you can also check these links:

» RYU :: XSuperModels MP3s! |
|
Aug 21, 2008 - 1:26 AM - by JaySinkie
|
For those of you who may not know, back in around 2001, Danny Boy from House Of Pain started a solo project, which was dubbed XSupermodels (or XSM, for short).
The group consisted of multiple artists, including S.O.B's Ryu Maginn, and even Divine Styler, who has worked with S.O.B extensively in the past.
Things happened, and the group never had their album released.
Promo rips of the album float around among hardcore House Of Pain fans, although the casual listener may not've heard of the project.
Ryu did vocals on 3 of the tracks (X-Men, B-L-A-Z-E, and Get Your Guns Out).
With the help of some House Of Pain fans, a member of our own SOBC forums, and with permission from Ryu himself, you can now find those tracks off the unreleased XSM Artificial Intelligence album, now in our media section.
Special thanks goes to Ryu (for giving us hosting permission), Rap88.com (for a track), mihau (for the other tracks), and our own BLUE EYED (for letting us know the tracks exist).
Now go to the Media Section, download them, and Enjoy!

» Tropic Thunder Soundtrack feat. The Name of The Game (Alt Mix) |
|
Aug 16, 2008 - 11:42 PM - by JaySinkie
|
The soundtrack for the new movie Tropic Thunder features as track 1, an alternate mix of the Crystal Method feat. Ryu track "Name of the Game".
The new mix is entitled "The Name of the Game (The Crystal Method's Big A** T.T. Mix)", and features snippets of dialogue from the film.
The track still features Ryu's vocals, and is available only in explicit form as of yet.
You can download the soundtrack via AmazonMP3 or iTunes, or buy it on CD from various stores.
